VIVARO CHILLER CONVERSION
Cold Consortium offers a range of Vivaro conversions featuring lightweight load area insulation with an easy-clean,
bactericide impregnated finish. Unlike many temperature controlled vans, this Vivaro conversion does not require a PTO
(power take-off) and the refrigeration unit is internally mounted, saving costs and improving fuel economy at the same time.
Other benefits include an eye-level, in-cab digital display for monitoring load area temperature which can be specified by the
operator – chiller (0°C to 8°C), low temperature (down to -18°C), deep freeze (down to -25°C) or multi-temperature. Vauxhall Vivaro Van Special Edition.

Based on the model that was voted Best Medium Van in the Van Fleet World Honours 2007 and available in SWB and LWB formats, the Vivaro Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle offers optimum levels of access for able-bodied passengers and wheelchair users alike. The manually folding rear access ramp and nearside and offside sliding side-access doors make it the perfect vehicle for community transport operators. The Vivaro Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle is innately versatile, too. SWB models can seat up to six, including the driver and one wheelchair passenger, while LWB versions can carry up to seven, including the driver and two wheelchair users. Choose the optional Easytronic transmission
and you’ll get a five-speed manual gearbox with
a fully automatic mode. In manual mode, you
simply push the lever forward or back to shift
gears up or down. The facia display tells you
what gear you’re in – 1 to 5, N for Neutral or
A for Auto. Switch to fully automatic mode and it
has many of the features of a regular automatic
including a kickdown function. There’s no clutch
pedal so you can drive it on an automatic-only
driving licence.

Sportive makes a serious style statement for
the image-conscious business. The New Astravan Sportive SE
concept from Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles takes all of the above, with a little
more ‘what if’ excitement. A bodycolour
rear roof spoiler, lower rear skirt, side sills, silver
alloy-effect roof rails and 17-inch alloy wheels give it even more punch in the
style department. ESP-plus makes for safer,
more dynamic chassis performance. While the 150PS 1.9CDTi common
rail turbo diesel with six-speed manual gearbox underlines New Astravan’s
forward thinking – high-impact
style with serious performance and load-carrying potential. Although only a
concept at this stage, reaction to this vehicle may lead to a production version
being launched.

3rd Award for New Astravan
Vauxhall has scooped another major award at the influential Fleet News awards. New Astravan has been voted Best Van under 2.2 tonnes, beating off the other nominees of Ford Transit Connect and VW Caddy. This is the 4th award New Astravan has received since it was launched in October last year.
All New Corsavan launched
After only 6 months since the car hit the road, the purpose built New Corsavan has now arrived. Available with an award winning 1.3CDTi 16v common-rail diesel or 1.2 16v Twinport petrol and with a taller, wider tailgate with an increased payload of up to 550kg, the New Corsavan is more practical and versatile than ever before.
New models added to the Minibus Range
New variants of both the New Vivaro and Movano have been added to the range of Minibuses.
The 9-seat LWB Combi joins the New Vivaro range whilst Movano gains 6 and 9-seat SWB and MWB Combi variants. These join the already established Vivaro 12-seat and Movano 15, 16 and 17-seat minibuses.
